MISP (Massage In the Schools Program)

Massage in the Schools Program (MISP).
This program was started by 2 Women from Sweden and now it is a world wide program.

It acknowledges the importance of touch. In schools where this has been taught, studies show that there is less bullying, the children are calmer and feel a greater sense of belonging.

Hiyala can teach a simple back message routine.  The kids then pair-up and do this for each other. Asking for and receiving consent to touch and be touched is an important aspect of the program.

Contact me if you are interested in having me visit your school, home school group or scout group.

MAKING SENSE

With better concentration at school, better sleep at home, a decrease in bullying, and better cooperation in the classroom, the evidence for massage is overwhelming.
